Description

What is Laxapet?

Laxapet is a palatable malt-based lubricant laxative for cats and dogs. It comes in gel form in 50g tubes. This product should be administered once a day for an initial period of three days, then two or three times a week. Dosage sizes vary based on the size of your cat or dog.

Laxapet supports feline and canine natural expulsion and elimination processes, making it an excellent product to treat both hairballs and constipation in cats and dogs. Laxapet contains petrolatum and fish liver oil, both of which have the effect of lubricating a cat or dog’s alimentary canal.

As Laxapet’s fish oil content smells attractive to most cats and dogs, this makes Laxapet readily accepted and generally viewed as a treat or foodstuff rather than medication.

What are the benefits of using Laxapet?

While natural, many cat owners find hairballs unpleasant and difficult to live with. Laxapet can reduce the incidence of your cat regurgitating hairballs, and aid in fur being eliminated through defecation.

Constipation can be a far more severe than hairballs, both potentially reducing your cat or dog’s quality of life, or even indicating a more severe medical issue. Laxapet can both relieve constipation’s symptoms allowing your cat and dog to defecate more easily, and support their digestive system.

How to use Laxapet

To use Laxapet, either directly administer to your cat or dog, or squeeze the paste over their usual feed. Cats should be given 2.5g to 5g of Laxapet daily for an initial treatment period of 2-3 days, then a smaller dose of 1g to 2.5g three times a week. Dogs should be given 5g to 10g of Laxapet daily for 2-2 days.

If your cat or dog has a known allergy or intolerance to any of Laxapet’s ingredients, then this product should be avoided.
