Cephacare Flavour Tablets are a broad-spectrum antibiotic drug that can be used to treat a wide range of infections. The tablets are suitable for both cats and dogs and target different infections in each species.

In dogs, the tablets work against infections of the gastro-intestinal tract, respiratory tract, urogenital tract, localised infections in soft tissue and the skin. In cats, the tablets work against infections of the urogenital tract, respiratory tract, the skin and soft tissue.

Because Cephacare Flavour Tablets are an antibiotic, they should only be used to treat infections caused by bacteria. It’s not advised (and potentially harmful) to attempt to use antibiotics on fungal or viral infections.

The tablets are beef flavoured to make them palatable and easy to administer, while their break mark makes them easy to split for accurate dosing.

How does Cephacare Flavour Tablets work?

The active ingredient in Cephacare Flavour Tablets is cefalexin, which is an antibiotic. It works to stop the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and effectively kills it to help clear the symptoms.

Instructions for Cephacare Flavour Tablets

Always use medications as directed by your vet. The tablets should be taken orally and your pet should hopefully take them with ease as they’re flavoured with beef.
