What is Vet Aquadent ?

What are the benefits of using Vet Aquadent? 

Any dog or cat owner should ideally be aware of the possibility of dental disease in their pet. It can affect the gums, teeth and structures that surround and support the animal’s teeth. It often starts with a build-up of plaque on the teeth. The plaque is concerning because it contains bacteria and food particles.

This plaque that stays on the teeth long enough then hardens into tartar. When the tartar is above the gumline it is visible and your vet can remove it quite easily during a professional dental clean. It is the tartar below the gumline which presents problems.

Bad breath can be unpleasant for dog and cat owners. When your pet has a healthy mouth and healthy teeth, bad breath will not be a problem. A good tip is to brush your pet’s teeth regularly.

How to use Vet Aquadent ? 

For dogs and cats aged more than six months old, simply add 1ml of Vet Aquadent to every 100ml of water. It is advised to replace drinking water with fresh water every 24 hours, even if it has not all been consumed. Use fresh diluted solution only, as directed above.
