Upcard is a medicine for dogs who have indicated signs of congestive heart failure. It is used to manage the signs of excessive fluid retention such as oedema. By increasing the rate at which excess fluids are urinated out the body, it reduces the amount of fluid the heart needs to pump around the body. This means the heart does not need to work as hard. It comes in the form of tablets and is available in a variety of doses. Upcard should be taken as directed by your vet.

After this treatment, dog owners may notice improvements such as increased exercise tolerance and easier and lighter breathing. If your dog suffers from hypersensitivity to torasemide then this product should be avoided.

You should notify your veterinary surgeon of any other medications your dog is on, so as to reduce the risk of an unforeseen interaction between the medicines. Very common reactions to Upcard include an increase in thirst, water consumption, urine output. Renal function should be monitored by your vet. In the event of your dog receiving an overdose of Upcard, then you should contact your vet immediately for appropriate treatment. 

This product is only suitable for the treatment of animals and should never be used on humans. It should be kept away from children out of sight and out of reach. In the event of this product being ingested by humans, then medical attention should be sought immediately.
