Terramycin Aerosol 3.92% w/w Cutaneous Spray is a topical solution used to treat foot rot and scald in sheep and digital dermatitis in cattle. The active ingredient is oxytetracycline hydrochloride which works on bacterial infections and stops the growth of the bacteria and clears any associated symptoms.
The medicine comes in an easy-to-use 150ml spray bottle for simple administration and is coloured with a blue marker dye. It is designed to be applied topically to the affected area.
For ovine foot conditions, a short spray of between three and five seconds should be enough. Repeat the treatment weekly where necessary. In the cases of foot rot, apply after the hoof has been paired as appropriate.
