It is for treating ectoparasites and infestations of ticks and fleas and can be used as part of a treatment plan to control flea allergy dermatitis. It can also treat gastrointestinal roundworm and hookworm infections and is used to prevent heartworm disease and angiostrongylosis.
The medication is available in 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 24mg, 48mg and 72mg doses.
