What is Sancerum?
Sancerum is an ear cleansing solution intended for use in cats and dogs. It fulfils a range of functions including removing dirt, drying the ear channel, and preparing this general site for receiving other medication such as prescribed ear drops. Its active ingredients are Salicylic and lactic acids. It comes in liquid form and is available in 125ml bottles.
Sancerum contains a specially formulated blend of Salicylic acid, Lactic acid, Parachlorometaxylenol and Docusate sodium in an aqueous, antiseptic, alcohol-free and non-irritating base.

How to use Sancerum
To use Sancerum, shake well and rub the base of your cat or dog’s ear. Wipe the interior of their ear flap with a swab that has been moistened with Sancerum and remove any excess with a ball of cotton wool. Sancerum should be used once or twice a week, or immediately before each specific otitis externa treatment your cat or dog is due to receive. Ideally, this should be done in consultation with your vet.
If your cat or dog has a known allergy or intolerance to any of Sancerum’s ingredients, then this product should be avoided.
