Prazitel Plus Tablets for Dogs is a worming treatment for dogs, against ascarids, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. It contains febantel, praziquantel and pyrantel embonate and comes in tablet form for giving orally or in food. The recommended dose rate is one Prazitel Plus tablet per 10kg (22lbs) body weight.

This treatment is for a single dose in tablet form and there is also an Prazitel Plus Tablets for XL Dogs version for bigger dogs. The recommended dose rate is one Prazitel Plus XL tablet per 35kg body weight.
How does Prazitel Plus Tablets for Dogs work?
Pyrantel and febantel act against the nematodes. Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed and studies show it causes severe damage to the parasite’s outside layer, resulting in their contraction and paralysis.
