Description

What is Panacur Equine Guard Oral Suspension?

Panacur Equine Guard Oral Suspension is an effective treatment used to eliminate gastrointestinal worms in horses as well as equines. This medicine treats roundworms, including small redworm, large redworm and also roundworm eggs.

The medicine comes in the form of an oral suspension and is available in 225ml bottles. The liquid either comes unflavoured or in a delicious apple and cinnamon flavour to help with easy administration.

This treatment has been created to be suitable for horses only. If you’re looking to de-worm another animal though, you should have a look at the rest of the Panacur range.

How does Panacur Equine Guard Oral Suspension work?

The active ingredient in Panacur Equine Guard Oral Suspension Is fenbendazole, which is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic that’s effective against a range of gastrointestinal parasites. It works by disrupting their ability to grow and produce energy, which effectively starves the parasite and kills them.

Once the worms have been killed, they are then passed in your horse’s stool, but you may not even notice them as the bowels can destroy the remains of the worms.
