The active ingredient in Panacur 18.75% Oral Paste for Rabbits Is fenbendazole, which belongs to a group of medicines called broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintics. It’s effective against a range of gastrointestinal parasites as it disrupts their ability to grow and produce energy. This works to starve the parasite and kill them.

When you receive the medication, it’s important to read and understand the dosage instructions. The strength and dose of the medication will depend on the size of your pet.

Always use medications as directed. The medicine comes in a pre-filled syringe (5g of oral paste per syringe) and should be administered orally by squeezing the syringe to release the paste into the side of your rabbit's mouth. The paste has been formulated to have a pleasant taste, so dosing shouldn’t be too difficult.

The dosage that your rabbit requires will depend on body weight so it’s recommended to weigh them accurately. The guide is that 1 syringe graduation should be given daily for every 2.5kg of bodyweight, for 9 consecutive days.
