Palladia Film-Coated Tablets for Dogs is for the treatment of Patnaik 2 intermediate grade or high grade (3) cutaneous mast cell tumours recurrent in dogs which cannot be removed by surgery. The oral tablet’s active ingredient is Toceranib Phosphate.

Mast cell tumors on the skin can occur anywhere on your dog’s body and can vary in appearance. They can appear as a lump or bump on or sometimes just under the skin, and may be red, swollen or ulcerated. While some may be present for many months without growing, others can appear on the skin suddenly and grow quickly.

How does Palladia Film-Coated Tablets for Dogs work? 

The active ingredient Toceranib phosphate is known as a ‘tyrosine kinase inhibitor’, a class of  chemotherapy medication that inhibits, or blocks, one or more of the enzyme tyrosine kinases.

It acts against the tumor in two ways. Firstly it attacks and kills the tumor cells directly and it also hinders the tumor's blood supply.

The tablets come in three sizes. The 10mg tablet is blue, the 15mg tablet is orange and the 50mg tablet is red.
