What are Oxycare Tablets?
Oxycare Tablets are used for the treatment of dogs with soft tissue bacterial infections in the respiratory tract and on the skin. The active ingredient is oxytetracycline dihydrate and the tablets are for oral use only and should be given to your dog at least one hour before or two hours after feeding.
The medicatione is to be given by mouth at least one hour before, or alternatively two hours after, feeding. Please give according to your veterinary surgeons directions.
How do Oxycare Tablets work?
The active ingredient in Oxycare Tablets is oxytetracycline dihydrate which belongs to a group of antibiotics called tetracycline antibiotics. It’s a broad-spectrum ingredient, which means that it can work on a range of different organisms.
The active ingredient has the effect of preventing the spread and growth of the bacteria and begins killing it, to not only treat the infection symptoms but also to clear it up.
How to use Oxycare Tablets
It is important that as soon as you receive and open the medication, you read and understand the instructions, especially on the recommended dose. The tablets are for oral use only with food and should not be administered in any other manner. Contact your vet to get full and detailed instructions on dosage.
