Noropraz 18.7mg/g + 140.3 mg/g Oral Paste for Horses is a wormer for the treatment of cestode, nematode or arthropod infestations, due to both adult and immature roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and bots present in horses. The medication is administered using a single use syringe and is placed on the horse’s tongue. The dosage is dependent on the weight of your horse. It is available in a single use syringe pack and a 12-syringe pack, both containing 7.49g of the medicine.
How does Noropraz 18.7mg/g + 140.3 mg/g Oral Paste for Horses work?
The active ingredients are ivermectin and praziquantel which both work on controlling mites and worms. Ivermectin is an anthelmintic, part of a group of antiparasitic drugs which expel parasitic worms and other internal parasites by stunning or killing them outright. Praziquantel is an effective tapeworm treatment.

The syringe contains 7.49g of paste and delivers sufficient to treat a horse weighing 700kg at the dose rate recommended.

The first dose delivers enough of the paste to treat 50 kg. Each syringe division after that again delivers enough of the paste to treat 50kg of body weight. The syringe should be adjusted to the correct dosage by setting the ring on the correct place on the plunger.
The paste is given orally by putting the syringe nozzle at the back of the horse’s tongue and giving the required amount of the paste.
