What are the benefits of using Purina Pro Plan Feline FortiFlora®? 

Cats of all ages sometimes develop intestinal problems such as loose stools or poor fecal quality which may be linked to the use of antibiotics, stress or a change of diet. Gastrointestinal disturbances in the gut associated with a microflora imbalance can be a common occurrence.  

Probiotics are useful supplements to help your cat recover from intestinal problems. For cats who are fussy eaters, the probiotic in this formulation can have the effect of being a palatability enhancer.  

How much Purina Pro Plan Feline FortiFlora® should I give my pet? 

It is advised to give a single sachet of Purina Pro Plan Feline FortiFlora® each day, sprinkled over your cat's normal food. It can be fed to your cat on a long-term basis too and can also be safely given to kittens, and lactating and pregnant queens. 

When feeding to bring back intestinal balance during and after antibiotic use, for best results, Feline FortiFlora® should be fed to your cat each day during, and for a week after, the last dose of the antibiotic. Ideally, there should be a gap of at least two hours before and after any antibiotics are consumed. 

If your cat is struggling with loose stools, feed them one sachet of Feline FortiFlora® each day, again scattered on its food, until at least seven days after normal stool quality returns. 

In order to support a healthy Immune system, give one sachet of Feline FortiFlora® each day, for at least 30 days.

The veterinary diets should be used under veterinary supervision and do be advised by your veterinary surgeon as to how much of this supplement to feed your cat.
