What are Kesium Chewable Tablets?
Kesium Chewable Tablets are antibiotics used in the treatment of skin infections, dental injections, and infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract and digestive tract in dogs and cats.The active ingredients are amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. There are five different tablet options, depending on the size and weight of your dog or cat.
The 50mg and 62.5mg strength are suitable for dogs and cats. The 250mg, 500mg and 625mg strengths are for treating dogs only. The chewable tablets are for oral use.
The recommended dose is the one as advised by your veterinary surgeon.
How do Kesium Chewable Tablets work?
Kesium Chewable Tablets contain the active ingredients amoxicillin and clavulanic acid which are antibiotics. Amoxicillin works on bacteria to stop them growing and halts the progress of cell wall building. Clavulanic acid acts to penetrate the bacterial cell wall too.
How to use Kesium Chewable Tablets
It is important that as soon as you receive and open the medication, you read and understand the instructions, especially on the recommended dose. The tablets are for oral use only with food and should not be administered in any other manner. Contact your vet to get full and detailed instructions on dosage.
