Puppies should be treated at two weeks old, at five weeks old and then before departing the breeder’s. Treatment may also be needed when they reach eight and 12 weeks’ old. After that, the frequency of treatment can be reduced unless the puppies stay in the  kennels where reinfestation may occur.

For pregnant bitches: give 1g of the medicine per 8.8kg bodyweight daily from day 40 of pregnancy continuously to two days post-whelping (around 25 days).

For bitches weighing more than 45kg, an extra 1g is required daily for each additional 8.8kg bodyweight.
