What are Flevox Spot-On Solution for Cats and Dogs
Flevox Spot-On Solution for Cats and Dogs is used to treat tick, lice and flea infestations in dogs and cats. The active ingredient is fipronil and the spot on solution comes in pipettes for ease of use. You apply it to your pet between the shoulder blades.
It can be used to keep adult flea infestations at bay for up to eight weeks. Newly settled fleas are killed within 48 hours of getting on to your pet. It may be longer for ticks on dogs. The medicine can also be used as a part of the treatment procedure for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) but only where this has been diagnosed by a vet.
Flevox Spot-On Solution for Dogs comes in 0.67ml, 1.34ml, 2.68ml and 4.02ml doses. Flevox Spot-On Solution for Cats comes in just a 0.5ml dose.
Dosage is linked to the weight of your pet. The minimum treatment time is four weeks. Here is a dosing guide:

How does Flevox Spot-On Solution for Cats and Dogs work?
The active ingredient is fipronil which works by disrupting the normal functioning in the parasite’s central nervous systems, ultimately leading to their death and inability to feed off of and irritate your cat or dog’s skin.
