What is Finadyne 5% w/w Oral Paste?

Finadyne 5% w/w Oral Paste is used to alleviate inflammation and pain and reduce fever linked to musculoskeletal disorders in horses and lameness. It is an equine non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).  

It is for use as an oral medicine only with 1.1mg flunixin administered per kg of body weight once a day for up to five days depending on the clinical response.

Each syringe is sufficient for one day’s treatment for a 454kg or 1,000lb horse. It comes in 10g bottles with a syringe which is clearly marked in 100kg increments to allow for the dosing of different weights of horse.

How does Finadyne 5% w/w Oral Paste work?

The active ingredient flunixin meglumine is a potent non-steroidal, non-narcotic analgesic with anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and anti-endotoxic activities.

How to use Finadyne 5% w/w Oral Paste

It is important that as soon as you receive and open the medication, you read and understand the instructions, especially on the recommended dose.
