Description

What is Eqvalan Oral Paste for Horses?

Eqvalan Oral Paste for Horses is an effective dewormer that works against a number of intestinal worms including lungworms, roundworms and bots. It treats parasites in both adult and immature stages to offer reliable protection to your horse.

Suitable for use on horses up to 600kg in body weight, the treatment is recommended in both summer and winter to maintain year-round protection from worm infestations. It’s also a useful alternative to horse’s that are resistant to the active substance in Panacur.

The gel comes in a simple-to-use syringe easy administration and should be taken orally. It only requires a single dose to kill any worm infestations and is suitable for pregnant or lactating horses.

This medication is specifically for horses. If you are looking to deworm another animal then you should seek a suitable alternative.

How does Eqvalan Oral Paste for Horses work?

The active ingredient in Eqvalan Oral Paste for Horses is ivermectin, which attaches to the parasite and intercepts their nerve function. By doing this, it paralyses the worm and it can then be passed out of your horse through their stool. However, you may not notice the worms in your horse’s stool, as they can often be destroyed by the bowels.
