Effipro Cutaneous Spray for Dogs and Cats is a topical tick and flea treatment for canine and feline patients. It is indicated for cats and dogs suffering infestations of parasites such as ticks and fleas. It is topically administered, and comes in pipettes. Its active ingredient is Fipronil, and it comes in 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml bottles.

Fipronil works by disrupting normative functioning in insects’ central nervous systems, ultimately leading to their death and inability to feed off of and irritate your cat or dog’s skin.

Extremely rare reported side effects include transient cutaneous reactions at the site of where this product has been applied, alopecia, and general pruritus.

If your cat or dog has any known allergies or intolerances to Effipro Cutaneous Spray for Dogs and Cats’ ingredients, then this product should be avoided. 

The minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

Puppies and Kittens from 2 days of age may be safely treated
