Description

What is Coxoid?

Coxoid is a water treatment for coccidiosis added to the drinking water for 7 days. During treatment birds should not have access to untreated water. A favourable improvement may be expected within 2 days.

Coxoid’s key ingredient is Amprolium Hydrochloride 3.84% w/v.

What are the benefits of using Coxoid?

Coccidiosis can be a debilitating and painful condition and may cause death in young birds or those which suffer from compromised digestive systems. Coxoid provides bird owners with a convenient and easily administrable product to help treat Coccidiosis, simply by adding it to their regular drinking water supply.

How to use Coxoid

Coxoid should be added to your bird’s drinking water at a dosage level of 28ml per 4.5 litres (1fl.oz. per gallon) for 7 days. In the event of a serious case of coccidiosis, then an additional week of half dosage should be offered. During this period, your bird should not be given access to water that has not been treated with Coxoid. Any untreated water which is not consumed within 24 hours should be discarded.

Coxoid is not suitable for use in birds being raised for consumption.
