What are Collo-Cal D?
Collo-Cal D is a specially formulated nutritional supplement for cats and dogs which introduces additional Calcium and Vitamin D into their diets. It offers a range of benefits, but is primarily intended to support healthy bone growth in young cats and dogs. It is also often given to pregnant or nursing bitches and female cats. It is orally administered, and comes in liquid form. Collo-Cal D is available in bottles of 250ml, or a litre.
Collo-Cal D’s ingredients are 0.75% w/v colloidal solution of calcium, and 70iu of Vitamin D per ml.

How to use Collo-Cal D
Collo-Cal D should be directly added to your cat or dog’s supply of drinking water. It should be administered at the following daily doses:
- 1ml per 2kg of bodyweight for dogs
- 1ml per kilogram of bodyweight for whelping bitches
- 0.5ml per 2kg of bodyweight for cats or kittens
- 0.5ml per kilogram of bodyweight for pregnant queens
If your cat or dog has any known allergies or intolerances to Collo-Cal D’s ingredients, then this product should be avoided.
