Clinacin for dogs are an antibiotic tablet that are available in strengths of 25mg, 75mg, 150mg and 300mg. Clinacin is used in the treatment of infected wounds caused by bacterial infections in dogs.
For treatment of abscesses and infected wounds, treatment may be extended to a maximum of 28 days.
For the treatment of superficial pyoderma, treatment can be continued for at least 21 days.
For the treatment of osteomyelitis, treatment is often administered for at least 28 days. To help provide antimicrobial cover during dental procedures, a 10-day course is often recommended. Doses should always be instructed by your vet.
