Butazocare Granules Sachet is used to treat horses with musculo-skeletal conditions. It is designed to offer both relief from pain and a reduction in inflammation, particularly where continued mobility is desirable. It may also be prescribed to treat post-surgical inflammation and other soft tissue inflammation.

The medicine can also be used as an antipyretic if recommended by a vet. This could be used, for example, for viral respiratory infections. It is not to be used in food-producing animals

The active ingredient in Butazocare Granules Sachet is Phenylbutazone, which works by inhibiting the body from synthesising substances that facilitate pain and trigger inflammatory responses.
