Description

What is Allerderm?

Allerderm is a topical product for cats and dogs suffering from dermatological (skin-related) issues. It comes in pipettes of various sizes and should be directly applied to the relevant site where issues have presented. Allerderm moisturises and protects, and helps the skin’s protective barrier repair itself and reduce sensitivity if it has become damaged.

Allerderm is an emulsion which also moisturises and soothes the damaged skin while it is repairing. By blending ceramides and fatty acids, this product helps restore skin’s natural defences.

What are the benefits of using Allerderm?

Allerderm can prove useful in repairing damaged or sensitive skin. It often causes a decrease in sensitivity in the cats or dogs who need to use it. This may decrease the pain or discomfort they are experiencing as a result of their skin problems.

Allerderm’s emulsion helps repair the skin’s protective barrier in cats and dogs, and may improve their quality of life as they become more comfortable. Reactions to common allergies such as dust, mites, and certain foodstuffs may also be reduced as a result of using Allerderm.

How to use Allerderm

One pipette worth of Allerderm should be used on the effected site every week for an initial treatment cycle of four weeks. When a cat or dog’s skin problems are more severe, then two to three pipettes of Allerderm may be used in a single week. Allerderm is best administered immediately after bathing your cat or dog, and when its coat and skin are completely dry.

2ml pipettes should be used on cats and dogs that weigh less than 10kg, and 4ml pipettes are for dogs that weigh more than 10kg.

Maintenance dose may be administered on a monthly basis. Apart from dosage size, there are no significant differences in how it should be used between feline or canine patients.
