Description

What is Activyl Spot-On for Dogs and Cats?

Activyl Spot-On for Dogs and Cats is an innovative and unique treatment for fleas, suitable for both cats and dogs. It comes in a convenient spot-on solution and is the only treatment available which contains indoxacarb. This unique ingredient has shown no flea resistance and works through bio-activation.

Activyl Spot-On for Dogs and Cats is easy to use and comes in a variety of pipette sizes based on the species and size of your animal. There are two different pipette sizes for cats and five different pipette sizes for dogs. This is to ensure your pet gets the right treatment based on their body weight.

For long-lasting protection against flea infestations, be sure to use Activyl Spot-On for Dogs and Cats once a month. It’s suitable for use on puppies and kittens from the age of 8 weeks.

How does Activyl Spot-On for Dogs and Cats work?

The active ingredient in Activyl Spot-On for Dogs and Cats is indoxacarb, and it is the only treatment available which contains this. The active ingredient works through bioactivation (also known as metabolic activation).

When applied to the surface of the skin, the flea then takes the product up and converts it into a metabolite which prevents sodium ions from flowing into nerve cells. This then leads to the paralysis and death of the parasite to eliminate infestations.

Instructions for Activyl Spot-On for Dogs and Cats

When you receive the medication, it’s important to read and understand the dosage instructions. The strength and dose of the medication will depend on the size of your pet.

Always use medications as directed. To calculate the proper dose for your pet, ensure accuracy is used when measuring their bodyweight. The size of pipette selected should be based on this.

Apply this product directly to the skin at the back of your cat/dog's neck after parting the fur.
